Patient Access
Our Policy
1. For patients or carers who are granted on-line access to their medical records, they will be
permitted to see the following parts of their medical records on-line:
1.1 Medications
1.2 Immunisations
1.3 Allergies
1.4 Detailed coded information
2. The following registered patients may have access to their own medical records on-line:
2.1 Aged 18 years and above
3. All requests for on-line access will be reviewed by a practice GP
Access may be granted on the following basis
3.1 Full access to all permitted fields
3.2 Full access but with some fields limited and/or some records hidden
3.3 Access withheld pending a consultation between the GP and patient or care
