For out of hours calls when the surgery is closed please ring 305895 - this is the number of the Fylde Coast Medical Services - a co-operative of local family doctors who provide out of hours calls for each other.

The Fylde Coast Medical Services have a dedicated, fully equipped Primary Care Centre at 88 Whitegate Drive, Blackpool and if appropriate they may ask you to attend the centre. Please use this service only if medically urgent so that the service can respond to urgent calls promptly.

For patients with minor injuries or illness the walk-in-centre on Talbot Road Blackpool town centre offers consultation and assessment by experienced nursing staff. The centre offers advice on all aspects of self-care and is able to treat a wide range of minor illnesses and injuries. It offers fast, efficient and convenient access to healthcare advice and information on local health services.

No appointment is necessary and the centre is open from 8.00am – 9.00pm Monday to Saturday and from 9.00am – 8.00pm Sundays and bank holidays. Christmas Day 10.00am – 4.00pm.

The centre is only for walk-in patients and is unable to deal with medical enquiries over the telephone.
